Large companies and savvy entrepreneurs are coming to Austin on droves from California, New York and other tech hotbeds. Austin has grown into one of the nation’s go-to spots for startups and large players alike. It is the perfect market for high-growth companies to thrive. In addition to homegrown companies such as Dell, established tech companies include Apple, Microsoft, AT&T, Flextronics, and Samsung. Nearly 6, 000 positions in Austin require coding skills. That represents 48% of all job positions in the city.
In the Austin area, there are more tech job positions than Web Developers to fill them. It takes months for recruiters to fill these positions and sometimes they have to outsource projects to other cities and countries. This is because tech education at any college is expensive (around $60k) and takes up to 4 years to complete. Not everyone can afford the money or time, especially those working full-time.
Developers Coding School is the right alternative for those who are looking to change careers without having to quit their current job. We offer a full stack (Front End and Back End) program that can be completed in 9 months. Our part time program is divided into 3 courses, Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each course is 10 weeks long. Our curriculum is designed to take you from knowing zero code to getting you ready to land that web developer job. Additionally, we help students showcase their projects to recruiters and tech companies. At the end of the advanced course, we introduce companies to graduated students and get the conversation started.
